The annual Literary Award Gala and First Edition Reception hold a special place in the heart of Local Event Co. After nearly a decade partnering with the Nashville Public Library Foundation, these events have become a creative highlight each year. The Foundation chooses an author honoree who inspires the theme, weaving their story and message throughout the weekend. With close to 400 guests gathering in the stunning Grand Reading Room of the downtown Nashville Library for a beautifully catered dinner, and a more intimate Patrons event the night before at a local book store owned by author Ann Patchett, Parnassus Books, it’s a weekend that feels both grand and deeply personal.
