Each year brings a new challenge: create a luxurious and electrifying gala theme inspired by the Frist Art Museum’s current exhibit. For this event, the focus was on Italian art and sculpture. Inspired by the hand-painted walls of ancient Italian villas, local artists transformed every inch of the Frist Gala tent into a romantic garden villa. Lush flowers, rich velvet and brocade fabrics, and moody lighting set the scene for a luxurious evening celebrating one of Nashville’s cultural gems. Nearly 400 guests gathered to enjoy cocktails and live entertainment in the historic lobby before being guided into the breathtaking tent for dinner.
